About the Event

Kansas City, MO – Digital Dreams Gallery, Kansas City's first digital art space, is thrilled to announce the opening of Christian Murray's solo exhibition, "King of Collage." The show launches with a soft opening during First Friday on July 5, followed by the main opening on July 6, 2024.

Christian Murray, a native of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and a former Air Force serviceman, has journeyed from dreaming of Hollywood to becoming a notable figure in the world of collage art. His exhibition in Kansas City marks his first solo venture and will showcase physical artworks equipped with groundbreaking TRACE technology from Transient Labs. This technology embeds a blockchain-based digital provenance into each piece, bridging the gap between physical art and digital ownership.

"After years of honing my craft around the globe, from Italy to Turkey to the bustling streets of New York, I've settled in Kansas City to focus on creating art that lives both in the physical and digital worlds," said Murray. "This exhibition is not just a display of my work; it's a testament to the journey of an artist who sees the world as an endless canvas."

Murray's brand, Hollywood Someday, has gained attention after Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was spotted with one of Murray’s signature collage briefcases. His wearable art pieces and collages have become symbols of resilience and innovation.

The "King of Collage" exhibition will feature a range of Murray's latest works, including the much-talked-about collage briefcases and other wearable art pieces. Each item will be available for purchase, offering art lovers and collectors a unique opportunity to own a piece of chipped art that carries its history and authenticity secured on the blockchain.

The exhibition opens to the public on July 6, 2024, at Digital Dreams Gallery, located at 2018 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Attendees will experience the unique fusion of physical art and digital innovation that defines the next wave of art collection.
