HOLLYWOOD SOMEDAY

Christian Murray, a native of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and a former Air Force serviceman, has journeyed from dreaming of Hollywood to becoming a notable figure in the world of collage art. His exhibition in Kansas City marks his first solo venture and will showcase physical artworks equipped with groundbreaking TRACE technology from Transient Labs. This technology embeds a blockchain-based digital provenance into each piece, bridging the gap between physical art and digital ownership.

Mani/Pedi - this is a representation of body and image. The original back is a mirror from a dresser used by my wife. I spent 21/2 years painting, collaging, and fusing these objects together. So much of our reality is in the seen. But life is being lived in the unseen.

REALITY TV

Reality TV - I love movies but I don’t know how much of my life is made up of stories and characters that don’t exist. There’s a little “this isn’t real” in everything we watch. Make sure you stay focused on what you haven’t seen yet.

The Most Expensive College - The sole purpose of this piece is to prove that two years of work on yourself is more valuable than two years at the most expensive college, I found this canvas at 81st and 3rd ave, in Manhattan. I spent two years collaging it. The price is one dollar more than two years of tuition at the most expensive college in the world.

The Souls key - the key to life is realizing that it’s not black and white. All the colors on here represent the medium inside your heart. How did you get here where the world looks so bleak? I turned the white parts to color and the blacks parts to white. This creates the song to your sentience.

Punch Me - Mike Tyson knocked out 44 people in his career. Life will do the same to you. How many times are you willing to get back up and re-frame your perspective even when you’re exhausted, destroyed, or broken? How many times can you get hit and keep hitting back?
