Digital Identity

Exhibition Statement

In an era where digital footprints are as impactful as our physical steps, "Digital Identities" invites you to explore the intricate dance between our online personas and our mental health.

This May, as we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, our exhibition delves into the profound questions of identity in the digital age:

Who are you on the Internet?

Who are you not?

How has the Internet shaped your identity, or perhaps, taken it away?

Through a curated selection of digital artworks, "Digital Identities" challenges visitors to confront their virtual reflections and the consequences these have on our mental wellbeing.

As we navigate through the lense of self and the internet,  the exhibition encourages a deeper reflection on how our online existences influence, transform, and sometimes overshadow our real-world selves.

Join us in a thought-provoking journey that not only questions our sense of self in the digital realm but also highlights the critical intersections between technology and mental health.

Let us explore together how our identities are constructed, deconstructed, and perpetually influenced by the digital landscapes we inhabit.
