Pınar Uyal, born in 1997 originates from İzmir, Turkey, and is currently based in Istanbul. Her artistic journey commenced at the age of 15 while attending a fine arts high school. Following her graduation, she pursued her degree in art education at Turkey's oldest Art Academy, Mimar Sinan GSF. specializing in Stage, Costume Design, and Puppetry.

Motivated by an unwavering passion for creativity, Pia ventured to the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where she immersed herself in the study of Post-Conceptual Art. Returning to Turkey in 2020, she transitioned into the film industry, where she contributed her talents as a set and costume designer to numerous local and international projects.

Pınar's artistic expression is rooted in her set and costume sketches, which have served as the inspiration for her independent artistic endeavors. The artist's main focus revolves around the concept of birth, symbolizing the conceptual weight of this theme through her figures, environment, and symbols. She employs a vibrant palette of colors to construct a dramaturgical search on the canvas, with her figures serving as both main and side characters, akin to how a writer places storyline and symbolism within their narrative. She is now challenging the concept of communication with the alphabet she crafted out her figures, inspired by the primitive values we share as humans and their reflections in the contemporary world.

In August 2021, Pia made her debut in the world of NFTs by launching her inaugural collection, "Woman Figures," on OpenSea. Her evolving artistic style, rich with symbolism and narrative depth, has garnered recognition and praise from an expanding audience of collectors.
